I use my eyes to measure different angles compared to different focus points and pick apart forms that stands out to me.
I rarely see basic forms like cylinders and triangles when I draw. I have never quite understood that concept, as it makes it harder for me to imagine a 3D model of the subject in my head, so I can turn it around and really understand the subject for future imagination. I think that is why I have a harder time with architecture. I digress, here is the bear study.
