George Nikolsky Illustrations
George Nikolsky (1906 - 1973) was a Russian artist (and more). I have barely found out any information of him, but he did contribute 68 works in 110 publications and 186 library holdings. Since he isn't alive I am almost sure it's okay to share his work.

Fantasy Landscape Inspired by North America and Norway
As the title says, this is what I'm currently working on. I've almost completed the sketch of the map. It's an island that I seperate into districts of different kinds of vegetationsystems. It's a lot smaller than how it would realistically transition from each vegetation to the other, but I've come up with a fantasy explanation to that which fits the religion of the area. I don't want to share that info though, since I don't feel comfortable with sharing more than my artwork.

Vadim Gorbatov
I just stumbled upon this artist on pinterest. This is the kind of art I'm currently into - nature and animals.

(As to respect the artist's work and copyright I'm just posting a link to the artwork.)
Hiatus
I've been on a long break from art. I'm slowly finding my way back with making studies and sketches in journals that I don't share on social media. I think sharing my art on social media is having just negative effects on me. I think I'm going to continue to share my art here though, because I feel like this blog is more for me as an artist, than to grab attention from other people like on instagram.
Here is a painting I forced myself to make as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday. It felt good making it, and I'm glad I forced myself even though it was a real mental challenge.
